Art Project: Hanging Branch
This lovely project is perfect for bringing autumn into your house this September…and it’s great for all ages! A perfect activity to do as a family, it builds memories and togetherness through creativity!
Go outside and find an interesting-shaped branch, in your garden or in a park, maybe.
From it, hang a collection of leaves with some yarn or ribbon.
You can use real leaves that have been painted, or real leaves coloured with chalk pastel. Or you could cut leaves out of paper, baking paper or coffee filters, and then paint them.
Try adding beads to your wall hanging; or wrap your branch in rainbow-coloured wools. Alternatively, you can paint the branch itself, or cover it in glitter… the options are almost endless!
